A beautiful day on the West coast last week and some really good wildlife on show . The heron , seems use so little effort for such a large Bird and is so graceful aswell : )
A Langostine prawn caught in loch Ewe to show visitors and then returned to the sea .
Hopefully to be caught today to show more people 😁
A Great sight on the trip Yesterday at #inverewegardens.
As we saw a magnificent White tailed Sea Eagle flying about on the hunt for some food.
A Wild Eagle unlike some of the, ones been constantly fed by people from boat trips from Skye ,not very Wild Eagles at all.
With Loch Ewe being being far more sheltered than many of the other boat operators locations. We had a busy day today and were showing plenty of shellfish and fish to everyone aswell as this great Lobster.
And there was alot of Wildlife above the waves aswell. : ) : )
There has in the last week been an influx of new visitors to loch ewe. And I don't mean tourists. They are our very own , new batch of 2018 harbour seal cubs. who have started in the last 7 days. So a great time to come along for boat trip !!! : )
When doing a trip this morning , we hauled a creel up to the surface and although we usually get an array of local shellfish to look at.
Aswell as touch and hold before being released back into the clear sea water of loch Ewe.
On this occasion there was a very large Octopus In the creel .
which amazed the visitor's on the boat.Although we do catch them quite often.
Along with many other creatures, like shellfish and sea stars and various types of regular sea fish.
This a new logo for 2018 exclusively designed for west highland marine ltd by Mandy cambell at logo lounge in Inverness. Thanks alot , A very smart job to : )
